Time to Visit Tulsa!

Since Ray's parents were unable to come over for Christmas we packed up the presents and went to visit them in Tulsa. We met up at The Cheesecake Factory and had a great lunch, opened presents and let Evan visit with his other Grandma, Grandpa and great Grandmother. We had a wonderful time visiting with them and Evan enjoyed seeing his grandparents!

All in all we did have to travel a bit this Christmas but no complaints, this year was one of the best that we have had! Now it's time to bring in the New Year! I hope everyone is safe this New Year's and has someone special to share it with! Thank you to everyone that has been a support to us with Evan and helped share all of the special times with us! We greatly appreciate all of our family, friends and especially God for blessing us with an unbelievable life! God Bless you all!

Off to Great Grandma's

The day after Christmas we followed my parents down to North Little Rock to spend some time at my grandparents home (my mom's parents). It's been a while since we have been down there so it was good to see everyone and show off Evan. I guess the next time we will see everyone will be when Parker comes into the world. Here are some pictures from the day! We had a great time and the drive was not bad at all.
God Bless,
Michelle

Christmas Day!

Christmas Day came and went! It was such a perfect day. We all woke up to a beautiful white Christmas and had breakfast and took our time opening presents! As you can tell from the pictures Santa must have thought everyone was very good this year! Everyone received more than enough this year and loved it all! Geoffrey and Mandy had to leave soon after we opened presents to get back to Little Rock for Geoffrey's family Christmas, and since the roads were a little bad they wanted to leave to have plenty of time to make it on time. Ray's parents were supposed to make it over early that morning but the snow storm closed them in from leaving Tulsa. So, that afternoon before eating a late lunch we bundeled up and went outside to enjoy the snow and try to see if we could get a little sledding in. It was so cold we didn't last long, but we did go a few times, the snow wasn't deep enough to slide down the big hill but we did try a few times on the small one, which as you can see from the pictures we were able to sled a little. We had a late lunch and went to the movies to watch Sherlock Holmes. A good movie, a little slow in parts but worth going to see in theatres. Overall an awesome Christmas Day! Below are some pictures from the day I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas! I wish you all the blessings in the new year! God Bless you all and have an awesome New Year's celebration! Be safe!

Christmas Eve!

My mom's birthday was December 23, and we have had a tradition to go out to dinner that night and celebrate. This year we went to Shogun's in Rogers. My dad, mom and brother drove in that night and we met up with them at the restaurant, Evan was a good trouper since it was already 8:00 pm when they arrived. We had a great meal and mom received some great gifts for her new house. Happy Birthday Mom I hope you had a wonderful Birthday!

I can't believe Christmas has already come and gone! This year was a great Christmas for us! We have so many things to be thankful for!
Christ of course which is the reason for the season! Our marriage, We have Evan,a healthy little one year old boy that is a very happy baby.. we have Parker, another so far healthy little baby boy on the way, our family is healthy, safe and happy, and lots of friends to celebrate all of this with. We have been so blessed and are very very thankful for Gods blessing this entire year! We pray that next year brings even more happy blessings on the way!
Back to Christmas Eve day, mom, David and I went and took care of some last minute shopping! Ray had some work to take care of in Fort Smith so dad rode with him down to the Fort and took care of that, then the rest of the day took care of Evan while we ran around town! We had lunch with the boys and got home around 4:00 just in time to meet up with Mandy and Geoffrey (my sisters boyfriend) at the house. We had plans on going to the 7:00 service at church but they were calling for bad weather so we decided to stay in. We had dinner and played our annual dirty Santa game and opened our one Christmas present for Christmas Eve (of course always pj's). Evan I guess took a lot of naps that day because he stayed up till 2:00 am! Which Ray and I took advantage and played Santa and picked up the house some and watched movies. Here are some pictures from the day!

Christmas with the girls!

It's another Boy!!!!

So after reading through the blogs I realized that I haven't updated everyone on the new baby boy on the way! He is growing at a steady rate, has a good heart beat and moves a ton! I am measuring out exactly the same as I had with Evan, so if you see me I am sure you will think I am not showing much... but if you saw me in jeans or a tight shirt you would be able to see the bump! All is well and healthy and we can't wait for little Parker Ray Canode to show himself! Ray is so excited we he thinks about how much fun he is going to have with two boys.... but I keep telling him the next one will be a girl!!! We are going to wait a little longer before having her... but for now were so excited and thank God so much for blessing us with a healthy happy Evan and hope Parker Ray comes into this world just as healthy!
God Bless,
Michelle

Happy Birthday Evan!!

On December 2 Evan celebrated his first Birthday! Since it was on a Wednesday we sent cupcakes to his class to help him celebrate his official birthday. We got pictures of the event but is wasn't on my camera so I am still waiting to get them. As soon as I receive them I will update the blog with the pictures from his class birthday. On December 4 we celebrated his birthday at Fast Lane in Rogers. I think everyone had a good time, so many people showed up, it was so great to see everyone stop by to tell Evan happy birthday. As you will see in the pictures we had lots of balloons, pizza, and bowling, and lots of arcades. The theme of the party was racing. I ordered Evan a race jersey with number one and his name on the back, and ordered Ray a matching jersey and put the number 2 with "E-dubs Dad" on the back. If you don't know already that is Ray's nickname for Evan, so I thought it was fitting to have it on the back of his jersey. They were so cute together. Evan tried out everything... the pizza, arcade games (the skiball was his favorite), and bowling, but out of everything I have to admit the balloons were his favorite. He carried them around the entire time and was obsessed with them, which if you knew him you would know how much he loves balloons... it was one of his first words (bal-loo) so cute! All in all is was such a wonderful gift to us all that so many of our friends and family took the time to attend, all the grandparent's were there, and even friends that have known us since we were born were there to celebrate. Since his birthday is so close to Christmas and he needs nothing really we decided to have everyone bring gifts for the families at our church that are needed help for Christmas. I want to thank everyone so much for donating such wonderful gifts I know the families appreciated all that they received! Again, thank you to everyone... Evan loved his first brithday and his parents even loved it more!
God Bless,
Michelle
Happy Birthday Baby Boy!!!
