Moving!

Well this weekend we took the entire weekend moving! We finally sold our house and moving down the street! We closed on Friday, had all the utilities moved throughout the weekend and are in our home and completely finished with the move! It wasn't so bad this time, I think we have the hang of things. My parents came up to help us, I don't know what we would have done if they had not helped! Poor Evan didn't know what was going on he kept getting handed off to everyone throughout the day, but now were all comfortable in the new home and glad to be finished with the move! I hope everyone else had a great weekend and enjoyed the beautiful weather!

OUT TO EAT PIZZA WITH FRIENDS

On Saturday we went out to eat pizza with Chad and Monika (who are expecting in July), Kristen and Stephen and my parents at Guido's. As you can see Evan was the center of attention with his new sunglasses we got for him at Vail! They were adorable!

Easter's here!!

Wow I can't believe Easter has already come and gone. This year has gone by so fast. We spent Easter weekend with the family by hanging around here and then to church on Sunday and after, lunch at Abuelos. My parent's came up for the weekend, and my sister, brother, and Jamie went to church and lunch on Sunday with us. The service was beautiful, and despite the weather church was still packed. It was so nice to see how many turned out for the celebration of Christ Resurrection. The day was so special, and it is always such a wonderful reminder of how Christ died for our sins so that we may have life everlasting, how simply put but it means so much! I thank God so much for what he did for us on that day, and especially when I look around at what I have been blessed with I can't even put into words how thankful I am for everyone and everything I have been given. The hugs from Evan meant more every moment of that day! I hope you all had a wonderful weekend, and the spirit touched you in a special way, as it did me.
God Bless

Thanks Aunt Jamie for the Easter Bunny!! Love Evan!

Arkansas vs. Arizona baseball game

Last Wednesday we met up with some people that work with Ray at a place called Wet Big barbque for dinner and then from there we went to the baseball game. It was an awesome game to watch and they announced at the game that it was the largest attendance ever at an Arkansas baseball game.... over 11,000 people on a Wednesday night! I couldn't believe how many people showed up and we won! Above are some pictures of that night! Go Hogs!!!

Visiting the grandparent's

After we returned from Vail, we drove over to visit Ray's dad who had total knee surgery on Wednesday. The surgery went great, and now he's just in recovery. We felt like Evan would help make him feel better. Above are some picture's from the trip.

Evan's first Plane ride

Ok, it has been a while since I have blogged, the computer and camera have never been together at the same time! Either way, a few weeks ago we went on a trip to Vail with my parents. We flew out Friday early morning from NWA into Dallas then from Dallas to Denver airport. Then rented a vehicle and drove into Vail. Evan did so well! We were nervous at first, after we got passed the check in (which took longer than expected) we walked right onto the plane. Evan was asleep within 5 minutes on the plane, and slept the short flight into Dallas. On the next flight he did just as well, sleeping the entire way. By the time we got him strapped into the car he was a ready to be somewhere else besides sitting and sleeping but he did fine. We arrived into Vail around noon, checked into the lodge and unpacked. The skiing was absolutely perfect, Vail had recently had a blizzard the week before we arrived, therefore the snow was perfect and the weather was in the 40's. We had a blast skiing, the food was great, and got to sleep in a little at the same time. Ray returned home early for work on Monday and we came home Wednesday evening. Evan could not have been any better. I have to admit I was nervous, but it was all a success. Above are some pictures from the trip.
God Bless,
Michelle
