Rainy days

Don't you love Rainey days when all you want to do is lay around! We're headed to church now and already talking about enjoying a lazy Sunday. Don't forget to roll the clocks forward! Enjoy the day whatever you do!
God bless,
Michelle

Davis: now talking a lot more! Here is what he can say : momma, daddy, nana, papa, brother, Evan, basketball, football, baseball, ball ... He loves having a ball in his hands at all times and unfortunately I found out the hard wary that he has a really good arm. When he throws it you don't want to be close or you might catch it in the face.

Skiing at vail

Today we dropped the kids off at ski school and drive over to bachelors bluff to eat lunch at the ritz and see how that side of the mountain skiid. It was a gorgeous day but the sun is starting to make things a little slushy and icy in spots but overall I defiantly can not complain!
Evan is up to level 4 in kids terms and going on the mountain. Today he received a blue ribbon for skiing down the racing mountain and racing the two others in his class. His teacher said he loved going fast. She also said that sometimes he doesn't pay as close of attention and drifts off the trail when she's not paying attention..;) but overall she said he's doing great and doing great for his age! He also loves it so that's the most important part;)
Parker was lucky to have the same coach again and did great. He is up to level two and no longer has to use an edgy wedge.y it keeps the tips of the skiis together so they don't completely spread a part. He loves riding the lifts and loves going fast - his teacher said he has improved so much over the last few days. He gets tired around lunch and has to take a break but gets rejuvenated after and does great!
We are having a blast and plan on going to dinner tonight!
God bless,
Michelle

One day down!!

Today was a beautiful day in Vail! We dropped the boys and Ireland off this morning at 8:50 to start up at nine. It was Evans second time to ski and Parker's first time to ski. We put them in classes of 4 but luckily they had a low attendance today and all of them only had two in their lessons so they practically got private lessons. Parker had a great time- his teacher said he did great today and they will continue to work on stopping. Evan made it almost to level three, his teacher said he needed to work more on his turning and when he was able to have more control he would move up to level three. Evan was able to ride the chair lifts up the mountain and ski a few greens and had a blast. Parker made it to the "magic carpet" hill. Which means he was able to start going down the hill on his own. They both had a blast and are already asleep as I type! We picked them up from ski school and found Parker taking a nap and Evan already inside taking a break. They definitely wore them out today! We returned back to the condo which is literally 150 feet from the ski school drop off and put on our swim suits and went immediately to the hot tub. After the hot tub we made spaghetti and stayed in for the night! The mountain was amazing for us adults and we can't for tomorrow after a fresh dump of snow! It's been so nice to have a break for a bit from the real world!
Btw- Davis is at my parents and loving it! He starting saying "nana" so I know my mom is in heaven! God bless grandparents! He needed the tlc and the older boys needed the attention from us so it worked out great! We miss you brother Davis but we know your being spoiled rotten and well taken care of!

God bless,
Michelle

4 hours to go!

So far the trip has been uneventful. Easy drive- the iPads that my parents got for the kids has been a life savor! Here's a quick picture of the boys finally allowing themselves a nap including dad!

Family vacation to Vail!

We're loaded up and leaving the house right now! It's 4:30 am in the morning and I having Evan and Parker still in their pjs snuggled up in their blankets. Both are awake telling me how excited they are for not having to go to school. I met my parents and little rock yesterday to visit baby Grayson and drop off Davis. He will be staying with my parents until we return. Parker keeps saying that he will go so fast and pass Ireland (daughter of mike and Kayla) . It'a so funny! The fun has begun!
God bless,
Evan is most excited about skiing on the big mountain. Parker is most excited to be able to go skiing all by himself this year!
