Snow Days!

I hope everyone now has electricity and is warm in there home and comfortable. We never lost electricity but my sister and brother in Fayetteville, and I have heard from several other people in Fayetteville that are still in the dark. We were extremely lucky, and actually took advantage of the weather. In our back yard we have a large hill that is great to sled on, actually the entire neighborhood and many others around ours come to play on it. After Ray got back from making a trip to Wal-Mart to get a sled we bundled up Evan and to the hill (not with Evan - we took turns). Several of the neighborhood kids wanted to go down with Ray because when they went with him the sled went faster! We had a blast acting like kids again. Above are a some pictures from the past week. Wish you all a safe, warm, and happy weekend!
God Bless,
Michelle

Lilly is on her way!

On Sunday a group of us put a shower on for Randi Johnson and her new little arrival Lilly Johnson. She had a great turnout and received a lots of wonderful stuff. We had a great time and can't wait till the little girl is finally here. Congratulation's Randi we love you so much and wish you all the best and hope we helped get you ready for when Lilly arrives.
God Bless love,

Having Dinner with Friends...

Well last weekend we must have taken lots of pictures everywhere we went because I keep finding more pictures of things that I haven't posted. So the pictures above are from last weekend when we went out to lunch and dinner with Chad and Monika Hatfield, Stephen and Kristen Kmiec. Chad has been out of town the last couple of weeks, so it's been a while since we have all had a chance to get caught up. We had a great time and spent all night a Guido's talking and passing around Evan. He did great all day, and as soon as we got home we could tell we wore him out, he almost slept the entire night. Hope you enjoy the pics, we enjoyed hanging out with you all!
The other pictures are of when we got home and Ray wanted to try and catch pictures of him smiling. I think I caught him smiling at least once, the other pictures are of Ray messing around by placing the Motorcross magazines in front of him as if he is already into the sport as much as Ray. I think Ray will be upset if Evan doesn't end up enjoying the sport as much as he hopes he does.

God Bless and see you soon!

Down at the lake...

Well last weekend we took a trip out to the lake to check on the boats. Everything looked good, being down there really gave us both the bug for lake season! We can't wait to see how Evan does on the boat and in the lake. We hope since he does so well in the bath tub that he likes the lake as well as he enjoys the tub. Above are a few pictures from when we went out to the lake.

Pics around the house...

Above are just a few pictures I took around the house of Evan and Ray... thought they were cute so I wanted to post them for all to see. Also, I wanted to show how much he has grown!! I can't believe it, now I know why everyone says to enjoy it while it last because it goes by fast... and it truly does.
God Bless,
MIchelle

He loves to rock in the rocking chair... it's a guarantee every time to get him asleep

RAY & DAD GO ON A HUNT...

This past weekend Ray and my dad finally went on a phesant hunt. They drove over 51/2 hours to go for a day. They seemed to enjoy it because they are already wanting to plan another trip. Above are a few pictures they brought back. Glad you both had a good time and came home safe.

Paint the town Red!

Well I know I am a little late on this one... no excuse besides being a little side tracked. Last weekend we attended paint the town red. They had a great turn out and it was a great event. The band was fabulous, they had everyone dancing. This was the first time Ray and I had gotten a chance to dance since Evan was born so we really took advantage! It was wonderful having a chance to catch up and see everyone! We had a blast and can't wait till next year! What a good event for such a good cause. Enjoy the pictures!

A few new pics of Evan

Taking a nap with dad!

I can't seem to catch him when he's smiling but he does love bath time!

Well the first snow for the new year. It wasn't much but it did cause Bentonville schools to close and I captured a few pictures of the neighborhood kids enjoying the snow. We almost went out ourselves, but we felt it would be better to keep Evan indoors. Above are just a few new picks around the house that I have taken within the last few weeks. A couple are from bath time and the others are of him with Ray in the morning after I feed him. I typically lay him in the bed with Ray so that I can take a shower and get ready without having to worry about him. I always thought it was cute, and finally took a few pics and thought I would post them for the grandparents to see. I hope everyone is having a wonderful start to the 2009 year! God Bless and be careful in the weather!

Mellow Mushroom + St. Jude's

Well it has been a while I guess since we have had anything interesting enough happen for me to have something to blog about since just now. Last night Ray, Evan, and I attended a "Network for a Cause" with Northwest Arkansas Friends of St. Jude event at the new Mellow Mushroom restaurant in Fayetteville. "if you haven't had a chance to eat there, I highly suggest the next time you are craving pizza to try it out!" The event was organized to recruit individuals that were interested in becoming apart of the new Northwest Arkansas chapter for St. Jude. They really had a great turn out and on top of organizing the event Mellow Mushroom also donated 15% of their proceeds to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. They are still looking for more individuals that are interested in taking part so if you have any interest below is the link to find out more information and how to take part.
